Imagination is everything

"Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions."

Guess who said that - Albert Einstein.

All the greats have known and used the same single principle, and I'm about to unlock the gates to a successful life for you. It's your job to walk through them.

Your mind is, by far, the most powerful tool you have at your disposal. By creating pictures in your mind, visualizing, you're activating a part of your brain that is often left alone.

The "reticular activating system" is what is going to drive you to your success, if you choose to use it.

At it's most basic, the RAS responds to what you think about. When it responds, you take notice of something.

Let's say you bought a new car and all of the sudden you start seeing that car all over the roads when you never noticed it before.

That's the RAS at work. By setting aside five or even ten minutes a day to think about (in detail) what it is you're after, you're setting your RAS to take notice when an opportunity comes along.

Whenever you spend a concentrated amount of time thinking about something, it gets programming into your mind's RAS. Today, for just five minutes, imagine having already achieved your biggest goal.

Maybe you're out riding the waves in California. Maybe you're in Belize helping on a farm. Maybe you're just sitting at home with an amazing family.

Whatever it is, take the time to visualize it - and if you're consistent enough, it will come about.

Another example before we close for today.

Jim Carrey - the famous actor. He visualized himself into success. Here's a quick quote from him.

"I would visualize things coming to me. It would just make me feel better. Visualization works if you work hard. That's the thing. You can't just visualize and go eat a sandwich."
